The Garage Transformation

The Garage Transformation

Yesterday it took me all morning, like 9-noon, just trying to clean the living room.  Then I spent 3 hours in the afternoon trying to pry my eyes open while reading & doing some work.  I practically slept through dinner.  It’s these moments that make me feel like “woah-is-me-I’m-so-pregnant-&-tired-&-will-never-accomplish-anything-in-our-home.”  Seriously.  I just need to listen to my body. I should have just gave up & took a nap.

Because today I bound out of bed and before noon I cleaned the living room, the bathroom, Ransom’s room, the dining room, the sun porch & did laundry.  After lunch, I started on the great garage transformation…  There’s only 3 times a year we can put anything we want on the lawn & they’ll pick it up.  I felt that I had to seize the day!

Ahh, what a relief!  Not even so much that the garage got done (in one day?!) but the relief that some days I DO have enough energy to live my life!  And I did all of this while Dave was camping & Ransom was at home playing by himself all day!

My next project before the baby comes: my side of the office ~ scary messy!
