ONE OF THESE DAYS I’m going to get out my real camera, set it up on a tripod and take a proper What I Wore Wednesday picture of myself. You’ll be proud of me though, I cleaned the mirror! I simply couldn’t handle posting WIWW posts with big splotches and baby hand prints reflected in the mirror…
Anyway, this week I decided to put myself together for a little play R1 was in at his school. If this bright blue looks familiar, it’s because my last week WIWW post was with the bright blue tank top that I got with these jeans. I wore them together once.
Mistake.
Anyway, after the play we took the kiddo’s to the museum downtown with their beloved, Grandma & Grandpa B and the outfit still worked.
My definition of an outfit “working”:
a. no booty showing every time I bend over. Jeans these days…
b. Feet don’t hurt
c. Kids can’t yank a shirt or jeans to a point in which I feel red and embaressed.
Seems like my whole life now, in terms of fashion, is trying to find outfits that are cute but translate to Mommyhood.
Close-up…
minimal makeup
Decided to keep the accessories to a minimum since this shirt is BUSY & the jeans are BRIGHT!
Necklace – So old don’t even remember where I got it. It has matching earrings, but again –too much!
Shirt – Kohl’s Clearance rack
Jeans – Old Navy
Wedges – Kohl’s Clearance
I’m a-blog-hoppin’ today with What I Wore Wednesday at The Pleated Poppy. You should too!
(If your new to the idea of WIWW, it’s all about keeping each other accountable to PUT OURSELVES TOGETHER once in a while. Often gets lost in Mommyhood. Check out some of the other amazing WIWW posts on Pleated Poppy. Seriously. These women inspire me to take a shower. Ha)!
