Wall-E

Wall-E

So Cute!
So Cute!

My son & I watched, Wall E together today.  It was so cute.  I think the lack of the actual English language made it easier for him to sit through the whole thing.  He was talking to me & asking what was going on the whole time.  He was even worried and scared for Wall-E when he thought he was broke beyond repair.

I found the movie also had a wonderful message.  I loved the idea that we (the human race) are trying so hard to make ourselves happy & contented but in our pursuit of it, we are becoming fat, lazy, unhappy & farther & farther away from the relational intimacy we are so desperately seeking & in need of.

There is a powerful part when two humans touch hands and are in such shock they just stare at one another.  They realize their touch less, happiness at all cost society is a lie.  Well, I could go on & on with all the spiritual ramifications but I’m pretty sure I have homework to do.

A+
