For those who care: My own jurisprudential philosophy, at this point, is wary of rationalist theories, and dedicated primarily to working against the Humpty Dumpty theory of law:

“When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean — neither more nor less.”
