Faith Goes Pop
Thanksgiving is in March – if you’re season 4 of Community and your episodes are airing way behind schedule, that is. Luckily, the episode was fun of cool stuff and some serious plot development in the form of Jeff’s first meeting with his dad. But my personal favorite joke was Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown)’s apron. I like how Community lets Shirley be devout in her faith without being a jerk or cliche. Plus, Troy (Donald Glover) is a Jehovah’s Witness and there roughly zero others on TV.
