Watch: Joseph Fiennes discusses his Risen character, and pastors endorse the movie, in two new featurettes December 10, 2015

Things have been a little quiet on the Risen front lately, but with the release date only ten weeks away, the studio has now released two new featurettes for the film.

In the first one, posted to the movie’s Facebook and Twitter accounts today, Joseph Fiennes discusses his character, a Roman military tribune who takes part in the burial of Jesus and then goes looking for the body after it vanishes from the tomb:

In the second featurette — which has been shown at preview screenings across the U.S. over the past few months but didn’t appear online until a few days ago — a series of pastors and church leaders endorse the film and discuss its merits:

Risen opens in theatres across North America on February 19.
