Another week, another Risen featurette.
The newest video was actually made available privately to Affirm Films subscribers about a month ago — you needed a password to watch it and everything — but today the faith-based branch of Sony Pictures Entertainment sent out another e-mail revealing that the clip has now been made available to the general public.
The featurette includes a fair bit of behind-the-scenes footage as well as soundbites from director Kevin Reynolds and actors Joseph Fiennes (Clavius), Tom Felton (Lucius), Mario Tardon (Andrew), Mish Boyko (John), Stavros Demetraki (Philip) and Stephen Hagan (Bartholomew), in which they talk about the “innocence” of the disciples (and the silliness of the actors who played them), getting back to nature during the Sea of Galilee scenes, and how they kept the “mystery” of the Jesus story while telling it from the point of view of a couple of agnostic Roman soldiers.
