Something You Should Know

Something You Should Know

Dear Brothers and Sisters.

Look, I almost never crash into your inbox or drop a new article on days that aren’t a Thursday. But today isn’t just any day.

A bunch of you have been messaging me things like, “Hey, where’s that video podcast thing you promised that goes with your new book?”

Well Ladies and Gents, guess what? It’s finally here.

YESTERDAY, THE WHOLE THING DROPPED AT ONCE.

That’s right. We went full Netflix-style binge mode on this one. All 10 videos of The Untold Story of the New Testament Church Podcast. Released simultaneously. No waiting around week after week like some digital peasant.

But here’s the thing—these aren’t just random, disconnected episodes you can watch in whatever order your chaotic heart desires.

They form one complete story arc. Skip around and you’ll be lost in the narrative wilderness without a compass.

So do yourself a favor: watch them in order. Each episode is just 10 minutes long. (I respect your time and short attention span.) But together they create something actually worth caring about.

Your call whether you want to marathon the whole thing in one slightly concerning sitting or pace yourself like a reasonable human.

Here’s a description of what the podcast entails, copied straight from the podcast page:

“This video podcast series is a charming blend of 10-minute spontaneous doodle art and visual storytelling, where hand-drawn illustrations dance across the screen to complement the engaging message.

Each video in the podcast is *not* a standalone episode. Instead, they form a continuous dramatic narrative delivered from a single spoken message. To fully experience and understand the complete story, you’ll want to listen to all 10-minute videos in sequential order from beginning to end.”

Wait! Before you head off … thanks to all of you who shared how you were helped by last week’s article: The Disengaged, Predisposed, Engaged, and Enrolled.

Especially those of you who preach, teach, write, or create.

I gained that insight quite recently and wanted to pass it on.

HERE’S WHAT YOU MISSED

In case you skipped that earlier article (hey, I get it, you’re busy and the Internet is endless), I dropped three crucial bombs that you should probably know about:

These aren’t just random thoughts I had while staring at my ceiling fan.

1) It’s a mistake to forward these emails to your friends. When you forward a newsletter or subscription email to others, if recipients click the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom, it will unsubscribe YOU from the list—not them. This happens because the unsubscribe function is tied to your original email address.

Instead of forwarding, if you want to share an article with someone, just head to the front page of this site and you will see the 6 most recent articles.

Click the article, copy the link at the top, and share it using email or FB message or even text. That way the person can read the article on the website and even subscribe if they want. But they won’t interfere with your own subscription. Forwarding is spammy and some will click “unsubscribe” without realizing they are unsubscribing you from the list.

2) We continue to add new resources that supplement the new book, all of them gratis. Head over to TheUntoldStory.net to check them out. I hope by now you have a copy of the book.

3) If you are subscribed to the CHRIST IS ALL podcast on Spotify, their AI team has been removing some of the episodes. So Spotify doesn’t have the complete list of 253+ shows. The same is true with our YouTube channel. Not all the episodes of CHRIST IS ALL appear there either.

But Podbean, Apple podcasts, Amazon Audible, TuneIn, and Castbox should have every episode. (If you find any missing, let me know.)

I’d recommend the podcast as a supplement to these UNFILTERED articles.

They cover different material and also feature conference messages and interviews, along with a number of creative spoof episodes (for those of you who possess a funny bone).

A fellow sojourner,
