Donald Trump responds to the Pope’s slam that anyone who supports “building a wall” isn’t Christian

Geez.  This presidential contest cannot get any weirder.

Today, Pope Francis said Donald Trump is “not Christian” after hearing that Trump wants to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexican border:

 “A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not in the gospel.”

(For those of you trying to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, take note.  In addition to “believing upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, there is apparently a Pope-approved list of political positions you must hold.)

Trump responded by saying the Pope would pray he was president, if or when ISIS attacks the Vatican.
