Day 22, 23, 24, 25: Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is Thanksgiving! What are you doing looking at my blog? Go eat some turkey and hang with your family and friends.

Today I am grateful for my husband’s family, who welcomed me with open arms for Thanksgiving 2007 and every single one since then.

I’m grateful for the Macy’s parade, the turkey, the cranberry jello salad, the long walks, the board games (as long as Atticus gets to be on my team for Trivial Pursuit), the girls shopping/bonding time over the weekend, the Purdue basketball game, the Notre Dame football game (here we come National Championship!), the trips to the playground with Maggie, and the love and companionship of family.

I’m grateful for a loving family which provided me with beautiful Thanksgivings for many, many years before I came to the midwest. I love you and miss you all.

Yes, there’s plenty to be grateful for. Including a weekend with no blogs! See you all next week, and enjoy this time with family and friends.
