What We’ve Been Up To

Hello friends.

We’ve been busy enjoying the fall and prepping for babies over here. I was 32 weeks on Friday, so we are in the home stretch. Based on info from the doctors, I’ll only be pregnant for another 5 weeks, max. Woah!

Recently we had the equivalent of “Who’s on First?” on Halloween with “Is it happening? Is it not? Are we going to have a tornado? Will the 2 year olds melt?”

We had Halloween on All Saints Day.

It was weird. We went to Mass, and then we went trick-or-treating.

But Maggie was happy as a clam.

Here’s a picture of me in costume:

Yep.

On Sunday we went to our first ever All Saints Day party and it was a blast. Miss Maggie went as St. Margaret of Scotland, one of her patronesses.

It was so very helpful that St. Margaret also happened to be the queen, and we happen to have an abundance of princess dresses and crowns.

They had a parade and sang “When the Saints go Marching in”. It was so sweet and super Catho-nerdy.

On Saturday between princess dress outings, we made a picnic and went to Fort Harrison, a state park that happens to be located within the city. We went to the duck pond and took a short (and I mean, short) hike.

She had so much fun! I parked myself on a bench and tried to take a deep breath.

What kind of pregnant blogger would I be if I didn’t include a bump shot?

Its not the best lighting (iphone) but here I am, 32 weeks, 4 days

Keep growing babies!
