Some say we are in a new golden age of television, as streaming technology makes available a host of programs for every taste, some of which, unconstrained by the need to appeal to the mass market of the commercial networks, are of very high quality.
I don’t know about that, but there may be something to it. But there are so many shows that it’s hard to know what is even out there. And word of mouth seems to be the main way that programs build a following.
