What’s with President Obama’s reliance on teleprompters–not only for formal speeches but for brief announcements, introductions of appointees, and informal remarks? It is reportedly getting embarrassing, as technicians have to do all of this setup in front of a waiting press corps and invited guests before the most minor of public appearances.
