3 Ways to Start Over

I’ve made (and broken) several resolutions through the years, but today’s post on Altarwork includes three ways I am going to use the New Year to start over. Will you join me?

• Be relational.

Our pastor said recently, “The best way to share the Gospel is through conversation, not condemnation.” The world is full of preachers and pulpits, but everyone could use another (true) friend. We all long for someone else in our corner, cheering us on when life is hard.

I want to be that person. I want to love beyond the labels, step outside what is comfortable, and focus more on building lasting relationships. Because in the end, the people in our lives are all that matter.
