2 Chronicles 35: Acts of Devotion

2 Chronicles 35: Acts of Devotion 2013-08-05T09:56:16-04:00

26 The other events of Josiah’s reign and his acts of devotion in accordance with what is written in the Law of the Lord— 27 all the events, from beginning to end, are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. -2 Chronicles 35:26-27

What will people remember about you the most when your life is over?

This is a tough question to ask, but not as tough to answer. People will remember most about you what you value most in your life. In the case of King Josiah, he was known for a national revival that resulted from his devotion to God’s Word found in the temple. Other kings throughout Scripture were known as good for their actions and values or bad because of their selfish priorities.

Want to be known for the right things after this life? Start with acts of devotion that are based on God’s Word.

If your life is known for following God’s Word now, your life will be known as one that followed God’s Word long after your life on earth.

Let’s talk about it on Facebook! Share your thoughts, pictures, or videos on handwriting Scripture.
