I’ve been given the opportunity to share about a brand new Bible from Gateway Publishing.  Gateway is associated with Gateway Church in the Dallas, Texas area.  They have churches affiliated with them all around the world.

I’m so grateful to be part of this launch of this Bible.  It’s a New Living Translation (NLT).  The Fresh Start Bible (NLT) is packed full of commentary on almost every page.  There are plenty of writings to make the Scriptures come alive to you from the pastors at Gateway, and other pastors you’ll recognize like Jack Hayford.

There are the pastors from Gateway, like Robert Morris and Jimmy Evans, and different authors that you’re sure to glean from.  There are articles with the latest scholarship for each book, and a good write-up at the beginning of each book.  This is a tremendous resource.

What I’ve done as part of the launch team, is to use this GIVEAWAY to build the readership on my blog.  I write for Patheos.com, the largest online religious community in the world.  I’m an Evangelical Columnist for them.

To build my blog readership, I’m launching an email list.  So this will be an email list of people who’ll receive Patheos emails from me on a regular basis whenever I post.  On occasion I’ll also send out emails with updates about our ministry or the counseling initiative we started this year.  I don’t send out very many emails of that type.

When I looked at my email list, I saw that quite a few ministers and pastors signed up.  I know the Fresh Start Bible will be a great stocking stuffer for anyone who needs a Bible.  The NLT is a great translation.  The extra study tools in the Bible will help anybody.  However, this would also be a tremendous study tool for a pastor or a minister.  So if you want to get something for your minister, but you don’t know what to buy yet, then consider getting a Fresh Start Bible from Gateway Publishing.
