Polyamorous post.

“You’re going to hell!!!”  While not the first time I’d seen the line in my inbox, there was something different about this one.  I felt that this person was more frightened than hateful.  After giving it time, I messaged the person back.  In a very calm manner, I asked the person to engage me in dialogue.  They weren’t having it.  “You’re going to hell!!!”  Most of the time, I don’t even reply to shit like this. I just simply move on and let them drown in their own evil.  For some reason, I felt especially burdened for this person and tried one more time…things didn’t get any better, “You’re going to hell!!!”  At this point, I decided to kick the dust off my feet and move on.  However, the message continued to torment me.

Polyamorous wedding.

Alaska is cold as shit.  Over the last few days, I’ve tried to stay indoors as much as possible.  Needless to say, I’ve had some time to think.  Earlier today, I allowed myself to get lost in the magnitude of what was happening.  With the wedding just hours away, I incessantly prayed for the family…two husbands, one wife and three kids.  Polyamory was never on my radar…until I began to consider that God’s love the marginalized and oppressed extended to polyamorous families as well.  Such an obvious thought changed my world.  When asked to do this ceremony, I jumped at the opportunity.  I knew that God would be there.  Hours turned to minutes and minutes turned to seconds.  Before I knew it, I was standing at the back of a beautiful clearing at the edge of a stunning mountain range.  As I stood there waiting for things to start, I heard the words of the messenger, “You’re going to hell!!!”  Instead of dwelling on it, I pressed on.  Step by step, I walked away from hell.  The messenger grew fainter and fainter.  Love killed him.

Maybe polyamory can save you too.

Amen.
