Chris Tollefsen on the Case Against Incest

Chris Tollefsen on the Case Against Incest October 3, 2014

(UPDATE: Link fixed.)

It just came to my attention that Chris Tollefsen has an essay up at Public Discourse on the case against incest.  Those who’ve been reading me for many years know I’m a longtime Tollefsen fan, that’s just the way it is.   One reason is that Tollefsen is always getting into arguments on topics I’ve never thought about, and incest would be right up there.  My thinking on the subject until about half an hour ago consisted of, “Um, what?”

The good news: It’s about more than just babies with six heads.  Much, much more.

You can read the complete Chris Tollefsen collection of Public Discourse essays here, including the famous arguments against lying, which gave rise to his new book, Lying and Christian Ethics, now out from Cambridge University Press.

I haven’t read it yet, because I don’t own it yet, because through a series of unfortunate events I failed to learn it came out last spring.  Problem to be remedied ASAP.
