If you already understand the fundamentals of how marriage, divorce, annulment and remarriage work, and weirdly you’re hungry for more, consider following Dr. Ed Peters’ blog, In the Light of the Law, which is currently running a pile of annulment-related commentary as various news reports come out.  Know that you are picking up on a conversation midstream, so you need to be well versed in your facts (see the beginners’ list, above) before you start your eavesdropping.

I enjoy this blog because Dr. Peters mixes an entertaining and enlightening combination of straight-up legal commentary with curmudgeonly opinionating; I say that in a gushing, fangirl kind of way.  As with the best of that genre, opinion and fact are always pointedly distinguished, so you know you can keep straight his opinion from yours.
