The Global Leadership Summit: It’s About Building Intentional People

The Global Leadership Summit: It’s About Building Intentional People August 13, 2016

I just spent two days at the Global Leadership Summit, a huge live event produced by The Willow Creek Association that takes place in Illinois and is simulcast to hundreds of locations throughout North America. In the fall, the Summit events take place in 65+ countries, according to their website.

This is my third time attending, and it’s absolutely amazing. Every time I go, my brain gets a new groove, my mind is expanded, and I walk away with new tools that I can practice even when the only people I’m leading are my kids.

Which is pretty much my reality right now, anyways. Seriously.

This year was certainly no disappointment (okay — there was one disappointment, which I’ll get to). Every single session was chock-full of golden nuggets — even the ones I wasn’t that excited about. They always pleasantly surprised me.

So keep reading and I’ll share the two overall take-a-ways I brought home in my notebook with you, and then I’ll share my one disappointing thing, and how I handled it. Read on, strong warriors!
