Bethlehem

Everyone who goes to the Holy Land goes to Bethlehem, at least once. It’s a busy, crowded place and the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, an Eastern Orthodox church, is dark and full of icons and … people everywhere. Here are a few pictures, beginning with the very small door to get in, and a picture of the area where St Jerome translated the Bible, a window in the church, and the tragic realities of the wall.
