Jesus Creed Announcement

Jesus Creed Announcement September 22, 2014

Screen Shot 2014-09-20 at 10.10.29 AMOur Jesus Creed project of providing for every age in every church a way entering into the life Jesus advocates — loving God and loving otthers by reciting the Jesus Creed daily and living it out — is now complete. The newest addition to the project that completes it is Sharing God’s Love, a book my daughter, Laura McKnight Barringer, and I wrote (she did most of the writing while I gave the big ideas and offered suggestions). The adorable artwork is by Dave Hill, chosen by our fine publisher, Jon Sweeney at Paraclete.

Our wonderful publisher, Paraclete, has a very special offer.

This is an offer for parents of children 3-10 and also — ahem — for grandparents and aunts and uncles and anyone who cares about the Christian development of small children. But I’m thinking grandparents just might have a special interest here.

The first 100 people/pastors who go to Paraclete site and purchase one of either Jesus Creed 10th edition (more of that this week), Jesus Creed for Students or Sharing God’s Love, can use a coupon for another free book – so they can get 2 of one title, or choose one of the other 2. Basically, buy one and get a second Jesus Creed book free.

Here is the coupon you are to use at checkout: JCFREEBOOK.

So, go to Paraclete and buy one and get a second book free.

Here is one of our blurbs, from Ann Voskamp:

“Parents know what the great theologians know: Good theology for future grown-ups should start now. Start when kids are little, start with books that become their favorites that they want to return to over and over again. This book is profoundly and delightfully that. Foundational, critical truths told in the warmth of story and the brilliance of memorable illustrations, this is one for every home of faith. If a generation of children made the words in these pages their creed, it’d change the world — and eternity.” –Ann Voskamp, author of the New York Times bestsellers One Thousand Gifts and The Greatest Gift
