We planted our normal assortment of vegetables this Spring here in the pleasant Ville. Tomatoes — three different kind — swiss chard, kale, brussel sprouts and cucumber.
But we’ve had an invader and I’m all but certain it’s the (un)neighborly rabbit. It occasionally wanders to our bird feeder and sniffs and chews. But I’ve seen the stinker in the garden.
It reminds of Bill Murray’s caper with the varmints.
The problem is that Mr Rabbit eats every leaf of chard just about the time I want to harvest them.
The problem is also that Mr Rabbit gnaws off bits of our kale leaves.
We’ve got varmints. We’ve had enough.
So I did due diligent research to discover a device that doesn’t poison the varmints.
It doesn’t stink up the yard.
It’s not chemicals.
It’s ultrasonic. It’s solar powered so no batteries. And it works. (Or at least I hope it works.)
It’s name is enough to put the fear of God and the threat of hell in the rabbits and everything else that moves in the neighborhood.
It’s called: Animal Repellent Outdoor, Solar Ultrasonic Animal Repeller with LED Flashing Light, Waterproof Deterrent Scarer with Motion Sensor for Armadillo, Cat, Bird, Bat, Foxes,Skunk, Racoon, Protect Your Yard
