In Case You’ve Stopped By

Not so much with the riveting
Not so much with the riveting

Just a quick note to say why I’ve not posted anything in the last few days.

Cuz.

I’m.

Lazy.

Plus, my wife Cat had FOUR DAYS OFF! Whoo. Hoo.

Tonight (being Monday night, doncha know) we went to San Diego’s famous Old Globe Theatre to see Cornelia, about George Wallace and his second wife, Cornelia. The script and acting was … something less than overwhelming. But Robert Foxworth, who played Wallace, was exceptionally strong. So that sort of pretty much almost kind of generally helped.

Tickets to this blockdenter show were $66 each. So now Cat and I can’t afford to eat for two weeks. But at least we’ll have the memory of a mediocre play to help ward off those pesky hunger pangs.

Tomorrow I will post Part Duex of my virtuosic opus, “The Cooking Show in My Head.” Until then g’night, sleep tight, and don’t let the showbiz bug bite unless you think there’s any chance at all that he might leave behind in your blood some actual talent. (That’s mean. The play wasn’t that bad. There were one or two places when I really thought for a moment that I might be almost completely interested in what happened next. Sure, those moments passed like bad fish through a baby, but … they were there!)

Anyway, see ya tomorrow! Much love!
