Monday Musings Are Back!

Monday Musings Are Back!

Monday Musings” was started in order to be a breath of fresh air, because let’s face it. No one really likes Monday’s. We so often use the breath God gave us to complain, and that can rear it’s ugly head on Monday mornings as the alarm clock is going off. I typically string together a bunch of random, hopefully encouraging thoughts, pictures, videos, etc. Basically whatever is on my mind is shared on Monday’s.

However, I haven’t been faithful in posting on Mondays. I’ve mentioned in my last few posts that my youngest sister is pretty sick right now, and to be frank, I haven’t made posting on Mondays a priority. But I miss it, and it’s something that brings me joy, so Monday Musings is back!

Without further ado, here are this week’s Monday Musings!

1) A few weeks ago, I was privileged to share another article on The Gospel Coalition. I was pleased with how it turned out, and my prayer is that it points others to the beauty of adoption, both physical adoption and spiritual adoption. Feel free to check it out here.

2) After church last night, a few friends and I headed over to Union Station to grab dinner and then headed by the Capitol. This was my dinner view…

DC has stolen my heart. I hope views like this never become commonplace to me.

3) The Botanical Gardens in DC is one of my favorite places. Benches are tucked away among beautiful greenery, and it’s the perfect place to escape to when you want to spend time along. I’ve been known to pick flowers at the Botanical Gardens. They are just so lovely, I can hardly contain myself! Yesterday I strolled through with some friends and thoroughly enjoyed God’s creation in the plants.

I discovered him via a website called NoiseTrade (check it out – tons of free music!). His voice is rustic and the perfect “chill” soundtrack. Download his music here.

Happy Monday!
