Approximately a year ago, I had accepted a job at Concerned Women for America, and was packing my bags and getting ready to move to Washington D.C. I took the following picture and used the hashtag #ChelseaGoesToDC

I never really intended for the hashtag to stick. Once I arrived in DC, I used it for a bit on pictures and tweets since I was still new to the city. The first time I went home to visit after moving, multiple people told me that they were following me through my hashtag. To be honest I had been using the hashtag to be funny, it wasn’t really a serious thing, however once people actually were interested in me documenting my DC life through #ChelseaGoesToDC, I started using it for all of my DC adventures. 🙂 I’m looking forward to documenting many more of my adventures!
