Max is in the First Amendment Rights class. We’ve been talking a lot about Syria & issues of justice.

Max is also in the Media & Culture class. We’ve been talking at lot in that class about how culture shapes media and how media shapes culture.

We’ve had a lot of dialogue about all the wrong ways in which consumers consume media and all the obsessive ways in which media cranks out useless information & gossip.

And we’ve looked at some of the ways media gets it right, and when it does, it can change the world.

Kony 2012 is an example of  how media can be used constructively.
