Marc Leishman Wins CIMB Classic

Marc Leishman Wins CIMB Classic October 14, 2018

Marc Leishman just won the CIMB Classic–the second PGA Tour event in the new 2018-2019 season–at TPC Kuala Lampur’s West Course in Malaysia. He won by five strokes, tying the course record 7-under par 65 today for a 262 total. In nine years on the PGA Tour, it was the 6′ 2″ Aussie’s fourth win.

Tied for second on this beautiful layout in Malaysia were Bronson Burgoon, Emiliano Grillo, and Chesson Hadley.

The next two PGA Tour tournaments will be held in South Korea and Shanghai, China. The PGA Tour is becoming a little more of an international tour, with another tournament in Mexico City and, of course, the British Open.

South African Louis Oosthuizen, the 2010 U.S. Open champ, played this week and finished well, tied for fifth. He has what I think is the best golf swing on the PGA Tour, perhaps of anyone in the world who makes his living on the short grass.
