Earlier today, I posted about red states passing bills in their legislatures that restrict voter laws based on “the big lie” that ex-President Donald Trump and many Republicans have been foisting onto the American public that the 2020 presidential election was a fraud and that states laws needed reform to prevent this from happening again, all of which is quite untrue and that President Joe Biden won the election fair and square.
Saturday, Trump sounded off about this. He told Republicans to “fight back” against Democrat criticism of Georgia Republicans passing a state bill suppressing voter access, which is racist by especially targeting African-American voters. Trump said, “For years the Radical Left Democrats have played dirty by boycotting products when anything from that company is done or stated in any way that offends them. Now they are going big time with WOKE CANCEL CULTURE and our sacred elections. It is finally time for Republicans and Conservatives to fight back. Don’t go back to their products until they relent. We can play the game better than them.”
Trump is a hypocrite in this statement. For he says “Democrats have played dirty by boycotting products,” yet he then tells “Republicans and Conservatives to fight back. Don’t go back to their products,” referring to the corporations that have come out in recent days criticizing such laws. He says, “We can play the game better than them.” Oh, how is it that Democrats are playing dirty by boycotting, but Republicans boycotting is not playing dirty?
