Sergiy Kyslytsya Has the Best Line This Year

Ukraine is fighting for its life. The U.S., the European Union, and NATO are standing with Ukraine, supporting it in every means possible without sending soldiers and airplanes to attack the Russians because they are trying to avoid a nuclear war, which Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Foreign Minister Lavrov have threatened.

President Putin gathered 150,000 Russian soldiers on Russia and Belarus’ border with Ukraine last year and early this year. He constantly said all along that it was only for military training purposes.

All that time, Putin–whose name I don’t pronounce Pootin but Pue-tin as in P-U for YOU STINK–was lying like a rug. For decades, he has been planning to use armed force to try to even go beyond restoring the former Soviet Union by bringing back the medieval Russian Empire of the eleventh century. In my opinion, this evil man PUtin is a lying, no-good autocrat who is being controlled by the devil himself!

On February 24th this year, PUtin changed course in his announcements and declared that his Russian military would now begin to invade unprovoking, democratic Ukraine to “de-Nazify” it in a “special military operation.” That was two lies.

First, Ukraine does not have neo-Nazis running its government whatsoever, as PUtin implied. In fact, the freely elected President Volodymyr Zelenskyy–a former actor and comedian who was beloved by the Ukrainian people as such–is a Jew. And he is a very courageous, ethical, and inspiring man who is giving his life for his country.

Second, this supposed military operation is a full-blown war, which I and many others call PtUin’s War. Right after PUtin announced it, he made it a crime, punishable by up to 15 years in prison, if any Russian citizen called this invasion of Ukraine anything other than a “military operation,” such as “a war.”

Ever since this war began, President Zelenskyy constantly makes himself available via media, speaking all the time in defense of his country against Russia. Just this year, since this war began, he has spoken via video to several, august, political bodies such as the U.S. Congress, resulting in their applause and support.

I think Ukraine has some very capable people in its government who are likewise courageous, ethical, and intelligent leaders other than President Zelenskyy. One is Sergiy Kyslytsya, Ukraine’s ambassador to the UN.

Russian President PUtin primary accomplice in this war against Ukraine is Patriarch Kirill of Moscow, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church. When Ambassador Kyslytsya was informed that Russia was invading Ukraine, he was attending a special meeting of the UN Security Council about this. While confronting his Russian counterpart, he implicitly referred to Russian President PUtin by declaring, “There is no purgatory for war criminals. They go straight to hell, ambassador.” That is the best line spoken on Earth so far in the year 2022.
