Yesterday, thirty-three year old Nick Taylor won the RBC Canadian Open near Montreal, Quebec, to become the first Canadian to win it in 69 years. It was his third win on the PGA Tour. Nick defeated Englishman Tommy Fleetwood on the fourth hole of a sudden death playoff in dramatic style by holing a 72-foot eagle putt on the 18th hole that hit the pin dead center with some speed, but dropped out of sight into the hole. The boisterous crowd went wild with excitement, and so did winner Nick Taylor.

Nick Taylor’s bio at Biography Gist says of his religion–“devout Christian.”

[I won the Canadian Open in 1970 at London, Ontario.]
