The good news arrived in my Facebook inbox today: the launch of a website I’ve been anticipating for a few weeks since I first had a sneak peek from my buddy Carson Weber. CatholicVeritas.com is the new online home of a dynamic ministry that is growing by leaps and bounds in the Diocese of Sacramento. But don’t see “Sacramento” and tune out if you’re reading this in Peoria! The great news about what Veritas has done is that they’ve created a portable blueprint for you to bring to life in your own diocese! So check out the awesome website, pray about the possibility that God may be calling you into service, and consider bringing Veritas to life in your faith home! I’ll share the press release here for anyone looking for additional information.
Veritas Catholic Young Adult Ministry
Sacramento, CA – The vibrant young adult ministry in Sacramento known as Veritas is proud to announce the launch of their new website at CatholicVeritas.com. This new site is adaptive, which means that it automatically adjusts to fit the smaller screen sizes of smartphones such as the Droid and iPhone. The beautiful design and advanced functionality of the site will enable Veritas to better communicate with the young adults it serves and grow its ministry.
About Veritas
As a response to the call for a New Evangelization, Veritas is an organization of Catholic young adults working in association with existing young adult ministries in the greater Sacramento and Bay areas to provide a weekly program of Catholic young adult Catechesis, Prayer, and Fellowship. Veritas is open to any adults, married or single, under the age of 39. The group is rooted in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, committed to the Sacred Liturgy and orthodox Catechesis of Sacred Doctrine, and aimed at the fullness of Christian Charity.
