Small Success Thursday: Words

Small Success Thursday: Words 2015-03-12T16:47:53-07:00

Over at CatholicMom.com, Sherry Antonetti has a fantastic “First Week of Advent” post up for Small Success Thursday. Her post made me want to write about the fact that my Advent wreath is up and that I’ve made time each morning this week for my Advent morning prayer, but I’m in a bit of a time crunch. So go read Sherry’s post, and the others that are linked there — you will be inspired.

All I can muster this week is three short “I did this” bullet points:

  1. Spent Monday and Tuesday in Monterey with a beautiful group of Navy wives who just finished reading my book The Handbook for Catholic Moms. Being with a group of young moms and their precious children was a true gift. I hesitate to claim this as my own “small success” since the moms in that group are the true heroes, but it was one item on my “to do” agenda that actually got done, so I’ll take it.
  2. Finally finished a particularly challenging chapter in my new book. It’s not good (yet), but it’s done.
  3. Snuggled on the couch with my husband in front of the fire place. The best possible use of my time!

Now it’s your turn! Go to CatholicMom.com for all of the instructions.
