The Love Tour – Day 7, V-day!

Our Valentine’s Day started bright and early — we were guests on the NPR show “The Takeaway” and had to be at the studio by 6:30am.  We got a kick out of recording in the same studio for one of our favorite NPR shows, “The World!”

From the studio, we went straight to the airport — on to New York City! Within an hour of landing in the Big Apple, we were chatting with the folks from the South Asian Journalists Association on their afternoon webcast.

Our radio interviews weren’t finished yet! Just a few hours after our SAJA discussion, we headed down to the Radio Foundation to use their studio for a live interview with the Wisconsin Public Radio show Here on Earth: Radio Without Borders.  We loved host Jean Faraca’s sexy and sultry reading from some of the stories, and were excited to chat live with listeners calling in.

It was lovely to spend Valentine’s Day with each other and with all our radio listeners! But we were also thrilled to have beautiful flowers waiting for us — from our loves — when we got back home at night. 🙂
