What a beginning to the month of November. I’ve been gone 12 of the 15 days of the month thus far: Spokane, Long Beach, Pasadena, San Diego, Los Angeles, Costa Mesa, back to Long Beach and then back home to Chicago. All in all, I will be spending more time in the Pacific Time Zone (16 days) than I will in my own Central Time Zone (8 days). I’ll only be home for 8 days this month (with upcoming trips to... Read more

This morning my good friend Adam McLane posted these profoundly truthful words on feeling like a hypocrite. When I read it I quickly remembered a series of conversations I’ve recently had. Before I get into those let me tell you this, even if some may disagree: I am intentionally, and with a humble spirit, trying my best to live as faithful of a life to God and to others as I possibly can for as long as I am here on... Read more

What is My One Sentence Bible? 11-4-10: “But Jesus, why do the religious leaders say Elijah must come first?” Jesus’ answer: “Elijah already came, and actually had the exact name! Hello people!” Mark 9:9-13 The critics like to stand on the sidelines while others try to do. Then when the time is right, the critics run to the scene and start talking trash. Mark 9:14-19 Miracles can occur when, in faith, we humbly recognize how little faith we actually have.... Read more

Just because Bobby is a Christian and an unreal, and extremely respected choreographer and dancer for some major pop-icons in today’s music industry, and involved in the arts, he gets accused all of the time by other Christians that he is gay. Here are his thoughts about what it was like for him to participate in his first function (our I’m Sorry Campaign) at a gay event. Much love. www.themarinfoundation.org Read more

What is My One Sentence Bible? 11-3-10: Even Jesus didn’t do miracles on the first attempt. What is My One Sentence Bible? 11-2-10: To those who already believe: Stop asking for a sign from Heaven; is not your faith and the works in your life enough? Mark 8:11-13 The message of those trying to take you out always spreads quicker than any message of factual truth. Mark 8:14-15 Even when wisdom is lived out right in front of your face, we still have problems grasping it. Mark 8:16-18 Much love. www.themarinfoundation.org Read more

I am fighting back the strong, strong urge right now to write about an ongoing situation in my life that is a real big deal to me, my educational future and my work. When the time comes all of the details will be released. Or not. I don’t know. I want to, but I’m trying really darn hard to be “the bigger man” in this whole situation. But if the other entity keeps trying to play everyone stupid by retroactively continuing... Read more
