My deep love of doomed quixotic eccentrics just naturally thrums with pleasure over any site that begins:
An Organzashon for the Establishment of a Political Monarchy, and its Suporting Institushons, in the United States
This website declares monarchy a valid and apropriat political form. It is ment to present royalist theory with contribushons and discusion of royalist ideas.
Politics Examind
It woud be good to asert a political crisis in our time. For that woud portend chanje. Insted we find political inersha. Wich is yet reason enuf for a new treatment of politics. A jenuinly radical examinashon from its orijins.
At first, I assumed the site owner was illiterate. But now I’m starting to suspect that he is just an 18th Century fetishist who is trying to imitate the rather diverse forms of spelling used in that time period before English orthography became standardized. If so, he just make me warm to him all the more as a true eccentric.
I once met a guy on the Internet who was a total zealot for King James Onlyism. He was so much of a zealot that he even insisted we all needed to return to speaking King James English in our daily conversations, the better to prepare our souls to hear the Reallio Trulio Word of God found only in the King James Version of the Bible. His emails were charming: full of “verilys” and “yeas”. Utter lunacy, of course. But basically harmless lunacy.
I love stuff like that.
