Hope all’s well. Two of my former seminarian brothers at the Mount just finished the pilgrimage of the Way of St. James in Spain. Their reflections are simply great! I think your readers will enjoy this. Both left studies for the diocesan priesthood and will be entering the Novitiate of the St. Joseph Province of the Dominicans in the Fall.
It has been a joy and a privilege to be in seminary with these two especially — bright, absolutely in love with the Lord and His Church, and just decent men. Please continue to pray for all us seminarians that we let the Holy Spirit use us to renew the priesthood in this country.
Father, bless these men on their way into the priesthood and fill them with the gifts and graces they will need to be the good priests you desire them to be. Help them become saints through their ministry and help those who receive their ministry to be sanctified through them. Mother Mary, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord, amen!
