He’s in chemo for esophogeal cancer. I have a priest friend who died from it.
Father, grant him healing in body, souls and spirit through Christ our Lord. Reveal yourself to him and soften his will that is so hardened against you, that he might laugh together with St. Paul at his own folly and say “Yes” to your offer of grace and mercy in Christ Jesus. Mother Mary and Teresa of Calcutta, pray for him.
