INDIANAPOLIS | Overturning a common law dating back to the English Magna Carta of 1215, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled Thursday that Hoosiers have no right to resist unlawful police entry into their homes.
In a 3-2 decision, Justice Steven David writing for the court said if a police officer wants to enter a home for any reason or no reason at all, a homeowner cannot do anything to block the officer’s entry.
There are, increasingly, two kinds of Americans: sheep who will bend over and endure this from the State everytime somebody shouts “9/11!”, or people with their wits about them who recognize that this poses a vastly greater danger to Americans than the terrorist bogeyman trotted out to justify such grotesque usurpations of power. I say, “To hell with this decision.” If by some dark miracle the SCOTUS lets this stand, then we are no longer a free people but are living in a police state.
