Ascension Press has released a new chastity program for middle-schoolers based on John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. In a culture bombarding young Catholics with misleading statements about their identity and sexuality, it is no wonder that issues of morality are at the forefront of their minds. Pre-teens are full of questions – the kind of questions that require serious, thoughtful, engaging, and above all, truthful answers. In the Theology of the Body for Teens: Middle School Edition, authors Brian Butler, Jason Evert, and Colin and Aimee MacIver present a dynamic and engaging program designed specifically for sixth to eighth grade students. This program provides eight unique fast-paced segments that we believe will bring John Paul II’s remarkable teaching to middle school students in a compelling way. Like the successful Theology of the Body for Teens program for high school students, the Middle School Edition uses a great mix of stories, real-life examples, activities, prayers, and references to the culture that is relevant to lives of the youth.
