Prayer Request

A reader writes:

God bless you for all the prayer requests you post on your blog. I struggle with a prayer routine, but I’ve committed to saying every prayer on your prayer request blog and it’s really helped with my prayer life!

My mother-in-law has suffered greatly in the past two weeks and is in the gray area of a possible end-of-life situation. My wife flew back home with two of our children to visit with her mother and is facing disunity in decision making with her 4 brothers over her mother’s care. I’m playing Mr. Mom with our other 3 children which is a big growth experience for me. Please pray that my wife and her brothers can achieve unity and peace in the family and make wise decisions, that my mother-in-law may be healed or pass quickly according to God’s will, and that my children be given graces to make it through this tumultuous time and that my wife and I may have the strength to keep our families together during this trial.

Father, hear our prayer for this man and his family, particularly his mother-in-law, that you would heal her or grant her the grace of a happy death. Grant peace, grace, strength, consolation and love to all concerned here. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Mother Mary, pray for this family!
