Praise Reports and Prayer Requests

A reader writes:

Johnny, the boy in the induced coma for three weeks because of a meningitis-like illness, is now sitting up AND  eating pizza AND talking (responding to knock-knock jokes).  Thank you, Mark and all other pray-ers!

Thanks you, Father, through your Son Jesus Christ!  Way to go, troops!

Another reader writes:

Our son Cory has been having Seizures and Tics (of his eyes and neck.) There has been a noticeable change in his symptoms, in a short span of time. He was sent into the hospital for an EEG brain wave test on July 30th.

Our family Doctor has informed us that he is very concerned about Cory’s EEG test results and that there is a “focal area on Cory’s brain that is of concern.”

We are taking Cory to Duluth tomorrow to see a Pediatric Neurologist. Please pray that the specialist is able to diagnose Cory, and that he is able to successfully treat him. Prayers for Cory and our family would be very much appreciated.

Father, hear our prayer for Cory’s complete healing, for grace, wisdom, skill and compassion for his caregivers, and for grace, peace, consolation, and strength for all who love him.  Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for them.  We ask this through Christ our Lord!  Amen!
