Prayer Request

A reader writes:

I am writing with a somber request.  I have a nephew in first grade, and one of his classmates, a little girl and a friend of his, died suddenly of influenza this past week.  As you might imagine, this has hit all of the kids in the class and their parents very very hard.  Could you please ask your readers to offer up a prayer of healing for all of them?

Father, grant eternal light and peace to that little one, and send your Spirit of healing, hope, grace, peace and strength upon all who love her and mourn her loss.  Mother Mary, pray for all of them.  We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
