A friend’s cancer has returned. The previous treatment some years ago badly damaged his heart, requiring a pacemaker. This round could cost him a leg.
Father, hear our prayer that your servant be spared grief on grief. Heal him through your Son Jesus Christ. Give skill, wisdom, compassion, knowledge, understanding and above all grace to his caregivers. Give grace, peace, consolation, strength, faith, hope, and love to him and all who love him in this trial. Mother Mary, St. Luke and St. Peregrine, pray for him. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen!
