Prayer Request

A reader writes:

I have an acquaintance/friend who is in her 30s, has struggled her whole life with mental health issues, and some physical issues. She moved to London a few months ago and has been posting regularly on her timeline on facebook. Her posts are very honest – she is feeling extremely lonely, is struggling financially, and, as she says “feels hopeless “ and “doesn’t know what to live for”. On top of all this, she is having to deal with the benefits system which is difficult for anybody at the best of times. My heart just bleeds for her, as I know she has gone through a lot of pain – both physical and emotional – in her life. There are other concerns I have for her as well related to mental health/spiritual issues, but I don’t want to get too explicit. She needs loads and loads and loads of prayers from Christians to keep her on a safe path. And prayers that she finds some happiness, and meets some people who can offer her support and company.

Father, hear our prayer that this woman would find the grace of Christ to hope and find joy in life. Supply her financial needs through the love of you people.pray Mother Mary St. Luke and St. Dymphna, pray for her. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
