Prayer Request

A reader writes:

One of my closest friends from childhood’s diabetic father was recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer along with other health issues. This news is hard on him and my friend and their family emotionally, financially and spiritually. Would you please help pray?

Father, hear our prayer for his complete healing in body, soul, and spirit. Give his caregivers grace, compassion, wisdom, knowledge, skill and the proper technology to treat him effectively. And if you choose not to do this, grant him the grace of a happy death through Christ our Lord.  Give grace, peace, strength, faith, hope, and love to this man and all who love him through Christ our Lord.  Mother Mary, pray for them.  We ask all this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
