Catholic and Enjoying It!
A reader writes:
I’ve already lost two jobs this year and I might be about to lose a third. I’m beginning to worry that I just can’t cut it in the real world. Please pray that I can either keep this job, or find something soon that I can do well in.
Father, help your son keep this job while remembering that his worth and dignity come from you, not from being a cog in a savage capitalist system whose contempt for him and the rest of the work force is not a judgment on him, but on the system. Keep him anchored in your Son and give him the work and income he needs to live. We ask this through Jesus our Lord. Mother Mary and St. Joseph, pray for him and his employers.
