Prayer Requests

A reader writes:

Hey Mark..  if you would, a prayer request.  One of Schana’s two uncles, a wonderful person with almost no knowledge of Christ, suffered an aortic aneurysm and stroke yesterday, and probably will not survive, much less regain consciousness.  Please ask for prayer for him and the family; that he be awakened by Jesus and choose Him, and the family receive the peace of Christ and consolation. I would also appreciate your prayer just for perseverance these days.  Too much chaos around me.  I cling to Jesus daily, but I (we) feel the enemy furiously clawing at us.  A general prayer for all of us who cling to Jesus might be good too.

Father, hear our prayer that he be completely healed or that he receive the grace of a happy death.  Grant all who love him grace, peace, consolation, strength, faith, hope, and love. And hear my reader’s prayer for perseverance.  Send St. Michael and his guardian angel to defend him from the assaults of the enemy and help him hold fast to your Son.  Help all who are likewise struggling. Mother Mary, pray for Schana’s uncle and all of us at the hour of our death.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Anyway, prayer request.  I’ve recently become unemployed again.  Please pray that I find a job quickly.
