A reader writes:
May I ask you and your readers to pray for my Mom? She is dying of cancer. She is in the hospital, surrounded by the people who love her. She has received the final rites, and joyfully received communion yesterday. But she is in a lot of pain. Please help my family in praying for a happy death.
Father, hear our prayer that she receive the grace of a happy death. Take away her pains and give her caregivers the grace and wisdom to manage her pain well. Help her to offer her sufferings to your through our Lord Jesus. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for her and all who love her. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
