Prayer Request

A reader writes:

Would you mind posting a prayer request on your blog? My nephew Mason is three-years-old, a kidney transplant recipient and is having a rough go of things right now. He had been sick for a month or so and he had an adenoidectomy last week, but is sickness has only gotten worse. He’s on an oxygen pump, and his lungs keep filling with fluid and the doctors can’t seem to keep it off. It’s the sickest this little boy’s been. Any prayers are greatly appreciated.

Father, hear our prayer for Mason’s complete healing in body, soul, and spirit. Give his caregivers grace, compassion, wisdom, counsel, knowledge, understanding, skill, creativity, insight, and the proper technology to assist in that healing and give him and all who love him grace, peace, consolation, strength, faith, hope and love. Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for them. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
